Olympic Gold Medalist Justin Best Joins the Eucatape Family

Olympic Gold Medalist Justin Best Joins the Eucatape Family

I’m seriously excited to announce that Olympic gold medalist Justin Best is officially working with Eucatape—and we’ve created his own Signature Series rowing tape.

Justin helped Team USA win gold in the men’s four at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It was the first time the U.S. had won gold in that event since 1960, which is pretty incredible. Having one of the best rowers in the world join the Eucatape family is a huge deal for me.

Rowing Tape Built to Protect Your Hands

I created Eucatape with a simple idea: make a better athletic tape for people who are constantly beating up their hands.

Rowers deal with blisters, torn skin, and hot spots all the time. Eucatape is designed to protect your hands without feeling bulky or getting in the way of your grip. Working with an athlete who understands those challenges at the highest level feels like a perfect fit.

The Justin Best Signature Series

The Justin Best Signature Series comes in a killer maroon color and features Justin’s own Johnny Bones logo right on the tin. It gives the tape a look that is completely his.

It has the same eucalyptus-infused protection, grip, and durability as the original Eucatape, but this version represents Justin’s personality and everything he has accomplished in rowing.

The coolest part for me is that this isn’t just about putting an Olympic champion’s name on a roll of tape. Justin knows exactly what rowers need because he has trained and competed at the highest level possible. Having him believe in Eucatape and want to be part of what we’re building means a ton to me.

Eucatape started as an idea I had while touring as a drummer, and now we have an Olympic gold medalist with his own Signature Series rowing tape. That’s pretty damn cool.

I’m fired up to have Justin on board, and I can’t wait to see where we take this.

Welcome to the Eucatape family, Justin!
